Ann Newman on Wildflowers and Tourism

Ann Newman will speak at the April meeting of the Perth Branch of the Wildflower Society on ‘Wildflowers and Tourism – a Great Combination for WA’.

Ann says ‘I have been doing Wildflower Tours in WA for over 30 years now, and I never tire of it and the challenge is different every year.  I hope that by sharing my experience others might consider doing it too. There is so much knowledge out there in our members but too few share with our visitors. So much pleasure to be gained by sharing!’

Meetings of the Perth Branch of the Society are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Subiaco Community Centre across the road from Crossways Shopping centre in Bagot Road. Doors open at 7.45pm and the meeting begins at 8pm. Supper is served after the talk and everyone is eligible for the night’s door prize. You do not need to be a member of the Society to attend, entry requiring a $3 door donation.
