2025 STATE COUNCIL and ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING and CONFERENCE

28 June - 29 June

The Wildflower Society of WA State Council and Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 28th June 2025 followed by the State Conference on Sunday 29th June 2025.

Members and Non members are invited to come to both or either day and the dinner. Register now to secure your place.

Prices are proudly subsidised by WSWA to make this event attainable to all. Members are only $20 day, Non Members $30 and a very special price for our new generation of botanists with Students only $10 day. The Saturday night dinner is also very affordable at $20 person. Come along and meet old friends, make new acquaintances and network amongst native plant professionals and enthusiasts.

Delicious local food will be supplied by All Good Grub with some traditional bushtukka catering.

State Council Meeting: This is an open meeting for reporting on the Society’s year from the Management Committee and its associated subcommittees and from Branches. Only Branch delegates (or their proxies) can vote on any matters/motions raised to be sent onto the AGM and/or the Management Committee. The State Council meeting finishes at lunchtime. If there are outstanding reports the State Council meeting can resume after the AGM.

Annual General Meeting (AGM): Chaired by President Brett Loney. All financial Wildflower Society members may attend and vote at the AGM. Members can appoint a proxy in accordance with the Society Constitution. Interested public can join the AGM but not vote as only financial members (or proxies appointed in accordance with the WSWA Constitution) may vote at the AGM.

WSWA Dinner: All Members and Non-Members are invited to a cocktail style dinner at COAST Port Beach. This is a great opportunity to network and catchup with old friends and make new acquaintances. Cost is only $20 and you purchase your own drinks. You are welcome to arrive early to view the sunset over the ocean. (Sunset 5:20pm) You must register before June 13.

State Conference: A morning of informative presentations followed by your choice of tours or a workshop.

A morning tea break at a suitable time will include book sales available.

12:30 pm               Lunch – Book sales and Wetlands Centre Conservation Nursery open for purchases

1:30 pm                 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

6:00 pm                 Saturday evening dinner at COAST Port Beach, 42 Port Beach Rd., Fremantle
