This is a botanical ramble in Glen Forrest along the Yiriji Trail, led by Amanda Spooner. It is a mixed jarrah, marri woodland with scattered stands of bull banksia (Banksia grandis) and she-oak (Allocasuarina sp) and a variety of understorey species. The walk is less than 2 km and flat. Please wear closed in shoes, bring water, a hat, and if necessary, raingear. If the weather is too inclement the walk will be postponed to Sat 27th at 10am – 12noon.
Meet: 10am at the Yiriji Trail sign on Strettle Rd Glen Forrest. This is 2.2 km along Strettle Rd, from its intersection with Hardey Rd, Glen Forrest.
