Exploring Manning Ridge’s Botanical Wealth

Please join us for an autumn morning walk in Manning Park to explore the remarkable flora of the limestone ridge. Meet at the Azelia Ley Homestead carpark, Azelia Rd, Spearwood. Bring clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy shoes, snack, hat and water.
The walk will be lead by Linda Metz, Acting Environmental Manager with City of Cockburn, who has a wealth of knowledge of this area.
Manning Ridge is part of the Beeliar Regional Park and is a Bush Forever (247) site. It is an area of important ecological significance but is currently facing threats from fragmentation and development proposals.
