Jolanda Keeble’s new publication “Field Guide for Wongan Hills”.
For most wildflower enthusiasts, the Wongan Hills is well known as a significant nature reserve in the Shire of Wongan-Ballidu; it is located about a 2.5 hour drive north-east of Perth. The area is also famous for its yearly Verticordia Festival at Reynoldson Reserve and for the many orchid species that pop up most years. There are many other reserves and bushland areas around the town of Wongan Hills that contribute to a wide diversity of both flora and fauna.
Jolanda started working on a book about the flora of Wongan Hills in 2022 and has just published it. She will share with you some of the background work and the results that led to this publication.
