Perth Branch October General Meeting featuring Graham Zemunik on the Swan Coastal Plain dune system

For October’s General Meeting on Tuesday 12 October, the Perth Branch will feature a presentation by Graham Zemunik on the soil development and vegetation of the Swan Coastal Plain dune system. In the talk Graham will use the sand dunes and vegetation north of Perth, near Jurien Bay, to exemplify the variety of vegetation types and the processes underpinning them.

Graham Zemunik is, amongst things, a plant ecologist and botanist, with this talk summarising some of the findings of research he conducted as part of a PhD, as well as research in collaboration with others at UWA. Graham is also currently the President and Secretary of the Perth Branch.

As usual, our meeting will be held at the Subiaco Community Centre. Doors open at 7.45 pm for an 8 pm start. The $3 door donation gets you entry into the night’s door prize.
