The Australian Bush has inspired or influenced many musicians.

The City Slickers Trio are an acoustic group with two out of three members living in the Armadale region.  Featuring singer and guitarist Wayne Perry, banjo player Ian Simpson and the mandolin and fiddle of Adam Gare. They not only play their own original material, but anything from toe tapping bluegrass, country, to well known songs from artists such as Glen Campbell (Gentle on My Mind, Wichita Lineman) and Creedence Clearwater Revival (Proud Mary, Lookin’ Out My Back Door). You might even hear Ray Steven’s classic Misty, Bruce Springsteen’s I’m on Fire or some Jimmy Buffet.
