Communicating How Home Gardeners can green W.A.

Welcome to our fourth webinar where we are luck enough to be joined by Nancy Scade; where they will be presenting on how we can communicate to home gardeners can green WA! A topic of native plant survival many of us are interested in from past failed attempts! But not only will Nancy be helping us in our gardens, but discussing the impacts of our garden choices and how choosing local flora does much more for our environment than just look fantastic!

Reserve your tickets to join us from the comfort of your own home, or relaxing on holiday with our Zoom link! Your personalised zoom link will come with your ticket confirmation, and we ask that it is not shared with anyone as each ticket is only available for one device – and we have limited tickets!

Grower Direct Plant Sales

The Eastern Hills Plant Sale is an institution in the hills and it is with great regret we have had to cancel this year’s event due to COVID-19. However the plants have been grown and the growers are eager to sell them. You can contact the growers directly to purchase plants.

Please click here to see the growers’ details and plant lists. Note that although the lists are accurate as at 1st May, availability will change as the plants sell. Don’t delay, now is a great time to get into the garden!

Please observe social distancing when purchasing plants. Contactless pickup can be arranged.

Propagation Group

This group meets twice a month to propagate plants from seeds and cuttings. Knowledge is shared; this is not a formal workshop.

Growing Native Plants Presentation

This is a  free 1 hour presentation on a guide to growing native plants in domestic  gardens.  It is intended for Western Australian natives and will cover such topics as soil, water and species. It is especially suitable to hills residents, but all aspiring gardeners will learn a lot from this session.
