Eastern Hills Branch

The Eastern Hills Branch is based in Glen Forrest, at the Octagonal Hall. The Branch has monthly meetings on the fourth Friday of the month, with guest speakers talking on a range of interesting topics. Doors open at 7:00pm for a 7.30pm start. Plant Sale 2024

The 2024 plant sale will be held at the Octagonal Hall 52 McGlew Road Glen Forrest is on Saturday 11th May 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The catalogue will be available a week before the sale.

Propagation Group

The branch has a Propagation group, where you can learn to grow your own natives. Propagation materials are available to members as discounted prices.

Seed bank

There is  a comprehensive collection of local seeds that members can purchase, and a herbarium to help you identify plants from the area. There is a Seed cleaning group which meets fortnightly for many months of the year, to prepare seeds for germination.

Wildflower Walks 

Short, 2 hour Wildflower walks are held in the local hills area, during winter and spring and are advertised on the events page. These are an excellent way to get to know the flora of the Perth Hills

Library

Members also have access to a comprehensive lending and reference library. Books may be borrowed at monthly meetings and other regular group activities held at the Octagonal Hall.
