Thilo Krueger: Saving one of Western Australia’s most unique carnivorous plants
Rainbow Plant (Byblis gigantea) is a unique carnivorous plant that captures its prey using long, thread-like leaves covered in sticky tentacles. As one of the world’s rarest and most threatened carnivorous plants, Byblis gigantea is in urgent need of adequate conservation and monitoring programs. Thilo’s presentation will provide an overview of recent work conducted by him to establish the conservation status of this species.
