Sharon Richards: Julimar State Forest – an uncertain future
Julimar Forest is at the most northerly aspect of the Northern Jarrah Forests and lies less than 80 km from Perth. It is currently under threat from misuse by irresponsible 4-wheel drivers, an increased risk of being contaminated by Dieback, lack of feral animal control, a questionable burning regime and mining.
