February Perth Branch Meeting Featuring Margaret Langley on iNaturalist
13 February @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Identifying Wildflowers yourself, using iNaturalist as one of your tools
For our first meeting of 2024, we have invited Margaret Langley from DBCA to present on the utility and benefits of iNaturalist. Margaret will explore some of the different features of iNaturalist that you can use to help identify native wildflowers. She will delve into various assistance features, including the AI part of the site, which help narrow down possibilities. And also how it can help you learn about the naming classification system to improve your identification skills.
This year our meetings will continue to be held at The Palms Community Centre. Doors open at 7.45 pm for an 8 pm start with a $3 donation giving you entry into the night’s door prize. All are welcome.
The Wildflower Society uses its independent technical knowledge of WA’s wildflowers to help you better know, grow, enjoy and conserve the wildflowers of Western Australia.
