Leonie Monks on Plant Translocations, at the Perth Branch General Meeting

Research Scientist Leonie Monks has been working with DBCA conducting flora translocations for many years and during that time has helped in the conservation of over 60 threatened species.

At the Perth Branch’s General Meeting, Tuesday evening, 9 November, at the Subiaco Community Centre, Leonie will give a presentation on DBCA’s flora translocation programme, describe the plant translocations underway in WA and highlight how information gained during two decades of translocations has been used to inform and improve management practice. It is sure to interest anyone with an interest in our State’s biodiversity and threatened flora.

Doors open at 7.45 pm for an 8 pm start. A $3 donation gets you entry into the night’s door prize. All are welcome.
