12 April, 2022 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Our April meeting will also be our AGM, in which we will a brief summary of the year and ask for (re)nominations to office-bearer and committee positions. New committee members are more than welcome!

Following the AGM will be presentation “Supercontinents and the Formation and Development of the Darling Fault and Scarp” by John Curtin Distinguished Professor Simon Wilde from the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Curtin University. In the talk Prof Wilde will briefly outline the ways continental crust can be produced and how the continents have evolved over time. And he will outline where our small part of that crust may have been at different times in former supercontinents, noting similarities in the geology, and the flora and fauna.
