Using a nature journal to explore local plants

For the March General Meeting of the Perth Branch, our invited guest Kim Lapere will describe what nature journaling is, explain how easy it is to start and give examples of the variety of nature journaling styles. In brief, Nature journaling is a versatile tool for connecting with the environment and recording our experiences. It blends art with writing and scientific journaling practices, yet is very accessible to most people. Nature journaling harnesses curiosity to ‘see’ in a unique manner that allows us to learn about, appreciate and record what’s happening around us.

This year our meetings will be held at The Palms Community Centre. Doors open at 7.45 pm for an 8 pm start with a $3 donation giving you entry into the night’s door prize. All are welcome.
