Guest Speaker – Bronwen Keighery – Bushland Plants and Climate Change

Did you know the Swan Coastal Plain supports more native plant species than in all of the United Kingdom?
Bronwen was a Senior Botanist in the EPA as well as a consultant, and has been recognised for her substantial contribution to the Wildflower Society. In this presentation she will note that our unique and variable flora has been subject to changing environmental conditions over its evolutionary history. She will look at a selection of common and uncommon species mostly from the Swan Coastal Plain that are used to demonstrate the existing high levels of variation.
